Olobin of Obin is also one of the five kingmakers in Igbaja Traditional Council. He is in- charge of Obin village and he reports directly to the Elese – in – Council.

He was also collecting the poll taxes of his people at Obin and passing it to Elese – in – Council when poll tax collection was in vogue.
