Alhaji AbdulRaheem Adeyanju was born into the family of Mr. Adeyanju at Elefun Compound, Igbaja.

He attended Demonstration Primary School, 1963, for his First Primary School Leaving Certificate and Ansaru Islam Senior College Oke-Ode, 1993 for his Secondary Education.
He worked as Manager at Ojutomori and Sons Enterprises, a Private Trading Company, in Zaria 1967-1973 and Omotosho and Bros 1974-1976 and as Sales Manager Yakodimo Electronics, Ilorin 1977-1983.
He briefly engaged in personal business and farming at Igbaja before he was nominated and installed on 1st May, 1995 as Chief Elemo of Igbaja and still serving till date.
